Privacy Policy

This explains what we hold, why we hold it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated 17 September 2026

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, and the name you choose to show.
  • Workspace content: books, editions, manuscripts you upload, analysis results, campaigns and briefs.
  • Reader records you add or collect through your own signup forms, including consent records.
  • Payment records: the plan, amounts, currency and provider references. We never see or store card numbers.
  • Technical records needed to run the service: sign-in events, job runs, errors and usage counts.

Why we hold it

To run the account you asked for: analysing your book, researching opportunities, preparing campaigns, taking payment and answering support requests. We do not sell your data and we do not use your manuscripts to train public AI models.

Who else sees it

Only the processors needed to deliver the service: our hosting and database provider, the AI provider that runs an analysis when you ask for one, the payment provider that takes payment, the email provider that delivers messages you send, and the research providers you choose to connect. Each receives only what that task needs.

Manuscripts are private

Uploaded manuscripts are stored in private storage. They are not public, not listed and not reachable by URL. Only members of the workspace that uploaded them can open them, and only through a short-lived link the server issues after checking who is asking.

How long we keep it

Workspace content is kept while the workspace exists. You can delete a book, a manuscript or a reader at any time and the record is removed. Financial records are kept as long as the law requires them, and audit records of administrator and billing actions are kept so that changes to money and access can always be traced.

Your choices

You can export or delete your data from Settings, and readers can export or delete their own data from the reader portal. Write to us and we will act on any request about your records — see the contact page.
